Terry, it is good seeing you here.  I have missed your humor and I know you have not been doing well but you were in our thoughts.  Honestly, I have reason to think of you.  I have very dear friend from Sarasota whose name is Terry and who has personality similar to yours and every time I talk to him, I mention how I have found his twin in name and spirit.  He, too, has had some medical issues recently but like you, I know he is going to weather them with optimism.

It looks like he has the same clothes on he was arrested in. I guess  black bag full of goodies being carried in didn't contain any clean clothes.

On top of that ... he must have the Jose Baez of Peru.  Anyone that desperate to take on a slam dunk case can't be the brightest crayon in the box.

I'm surprised Jose hasn't volunteered.....just so he could live out his fantasy of returning to the actual crime scene......maybe Peru's where he got the impression he could do this in Florida on Suburban Drive.

Lima (Peru.com) .- Maximum Highness, lawyer of the Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, filed a habeas corpus to the judiciary to strike down a police investigation on the grounds that his client's rights were violated.
 
He was saying that the foreigner was questioned by a lawyer provided by the National Police (PNP), to whom he confessed to the crime of the young Peruvian Stephany Flores Ramirez (21) on 30 May.
 
Counsel pointed out that the Dutchman is upset by the way the media dealt with the issue.
 
"It's not how they say it. He feels sorry," he said noting that van der Sloot is psychologically stable and that their feelings are because "it's a very astute poker player."

I have said from the beginning she was loaning him money at the table and she went to his room to get her money. He drugged her, but they did not knock her out and she fought back. He killed her for the money and I would bet the farm on it..................

I am not yet convinced he killed Natalie - I have always thought his father may have been the one to kill her. I think JVC drugged her took her back to their "compound" for his father and something happened there. I don't know if him and the other freaks were video recording it or all going to turns, but I do believe there is recording of it SOMEWHERE. He may have kept it to keep his father giving him money and protecting him.

Maybe it was Paulus who offered the lethal squirt the $10,000 to get him a blonde while Anita was in Holland.

I just have had a "feeling" since this first started that his father was the original pervert in that family. I do think JVC is now a serial killer and I am not sure he did not learn that at his father's knee. He did go to Thailand as a teen with his father time after time. There are a lot of young women (who can be bought) there and a lot of snuff films are done there to be sold at big prices.

I think we are making way too much of his lawyer and what HE wants - JVS will never see the light of day again. He will not be alive this time next year because once he is in a Peruvian prison he cannot be protected by Aruba or anyone else. I am betting there are prisoners now already fighting to get the first chance at him. It is NOTHING like we know prisons here in the US and the guards can be bought for almost nothing to look away. We will hear a story of him dying of some disease within months of his departure to the prison.

My only problem with it is ... Joran being Joran ... I think he would have given old daddy up ... even before he was dead.  But you're right ... if he could blackmail daddy for more money than the reward was worth ... well ... we all know Joran will do pretty much anything for money ... with the exception of telling the truth!

Joran van der Sloot, willing to talk about American girl lost in Aruba

You know I have to say that it always made me a little nauseous that the last thing Natalee probably saw was that punk's face.  But considering that it may have been Paulus really really makes me sick.  He was sleazy and greasy and sweaty and ugh.

And he's out of money and not jet setting anymore once daddy dies ... turbo ... I'm getting more convinced the more I think about it.  Better to blackmail daddy (who he thought had a lot more years to live than he actually did) than take a one shot reward for info.
