OMG, who put this together? Whoever it was must have some major mental issues. Who would buy this?

I don't know but it's so nice to encounter crap like this and be able to laugh at it! That stuff will get them nowhere. Stuff like that only works in Aruba where there's a conspiracy to hide the truth. Anyone with an IQ over the room temperature sees right through this stuff.

I'm curious.......... is everybody sure Joran even knows where Natalee is? I feel sure that Van der Stratten knows, and certainly Paulus did. Probably others as well, because I can't see just the two of them doing the grunt work but I'm not 100% sure Joran does.

I'm like 80% sure he knows. I do think she was moved at least once.

I'm not sure he knows ... but he knows (and can still give up) live people who know.  Paulus didn't get rid of Natalee's body by himself.  He wasn't that courageous.  He was a small little man ... on a small little island ... using up every favor (past and future) he had - not so much to save his monster of a son ... but more to save face and the family name.

WHY AREN'T THEY CHARGING HIM

The attorney for the slain girl's family, Edwar Alvarez, told the AP that prosecutors have until 8 a.m. Friday morning to file charges. Otherwise, Van der Sloot would have to be freed.

Could it be that the Peruvian prosecutor is bowing to some type of negotiations with the Dutch Attorney ... the Dutch Embassy diplomats and/or ... the Aruban Solicitor General.

The cancelling of the press conference this morning has given me a hinky feeling all day and ... my hinky feeling are often right but ... thankfully not always.

Is Joran`s protectors in Aruba and NL were at the wheel...

They had 5 years to come up with a plan to handle it.

...and now Peru is going to finish it for them.

I predict they will accomplish this feat before the week is through.

Much like Joran ... they thought they got away with it ... and I am pretty certain they did think it was a once shot deal ... didn't think he'd kill again ... at least off of Aruba.  Stupid is as Stupid does.  A whole lot of contracted sphincters in Aruba and NL.  But not as contracted as Joran's!  Loosen up Joran ... I KNEW I would regret tuning into JVM. If TJ is not on, there is no reason for me.

First off, Numbnut's name is Joran - pronounced "Yo-Raun". I know it's a long time running joke, but this woman has a national show, and she should be able to at a minimum get the pronunciation correct. She makes herself look small and immature. Her on air decorum makes me puke. I could care less where she is confused sexually or had a drinking problem. (yep, there's my cheap shot) : )

Try to make this case more than a freak show Jane, and you will earn respect for years to come, make it a nightmare and you may not even be on the air by the time this all comes to trial - should there be one.

Lastly, Peru and there justice system deserve respect. They have gotten further than anyone to date. Jane makes it seem like they are a corrupt aristocracy ready to let Joran leave the country with a key to Lima.

The Peruvians deserve some respect in my opinion - where this goes is anyone's guess, but let's give them the benefit of the doubt. They took today and backed off the charge - to make sure they have addressed the Bert De Rooij mumbo jumbo - that is the sign they are following the law.

To me, there is no justice until Joran and Aruba gives Natalee back to her family so she can be buried in the United States. 

Joran is dead meat in any prison in Peru.  Good for him.  BUT he should be tortured until he finishes the rest of his story and reveals the truth about Natalee and what he/Daddy did with her.  Nothing more, nothing less.  Just my opinion-there will be Justice for Staphany but not for Natalee (other than this monster will never be able to do this again).

Anita should be a Mom now and tell her son to spill it and let Natalee's family go in peace.  She cannot save Joran now.  Hell, she turned her back on him, cut him off and caused him to turn to Beth to torture for money.  Wouldn't be surprised if Anita and Julie told him where he could get money--and he did it.

Joran van der Sloot's plan to extort money from the parents of missing American teenager Natalee Holloway was so brazen that he demanded her mother sign a contract pledging tens of thousands of dollars for information about where her daughter's remains could be found, according to an FBI affidavit unsealed today.
But in a heartless act of greed and deception, the Dutch playboy accepted $25,000 from Holloway's mother and then lied to her about where her daughter was buried, the affidavit states.

Van der Sloot, 22, is currently jailed in Peru for the murder of a young woman, Stephany Flores Ramirez, who he met in a Lima casino.

On the day he was arrested for murder, U.S. prosecutors in Birmingham, Ala., issued an arrest warrant for van der Sloot charging him with extortion.

The federal affidavit released today spells out for the first time how the alleged extortion scam unfolded.

U.S. prosecutors say van der Sloot contacted a person known to Holloway's mother, Beth Twitty, in March, and negotiated a price for showing him the location of the remains of the Alabama high school student who vanished during a school trip to Aruba in 2005.

Van der Sloot initially demanded $250,000, but later agreed to show the family's proxy the location of the body in Aruba for $25,000 up front and a promise of more to come.

The affidavit does not name the proxy, referred to by the government as a "cooperating witness."

During the negotiations with Twitty's go-between, "van der Sloot insisted that a written contract between him and Mrs. Twitty be prepared by the cooperating witness," according to the affidavit.

The contract was signed by Twitty, who faxed it back to the cooperating witness in New York.

Offices for lawyer John Kelly, who represented Twitty in her 2006 wrongful death civil suit against van der Sloot, are located in New York.

"Van der Sloot indicated to the cooperating witness that unless Mrs. Twitty paid the money demanded he would not tell where the remains of her daughter were hidden, nor provide any information regarding the circumstances of her death," the affidavit states.

He not only disposes of the daughter, but he tortures her mother ad infinitum.  How much can one person take, there has to be a limit, 5 years and counting.  My heart aches for Beth.
