Tyler,
Who is Guido Wever's father?  I thought it was Dr. Buschi Wever who is also one of the Ministers in the current administration and also has some connection to the landfill.

Katgram doesn't think that is the right one.  Do you know who Guido's father is and if he has any power in Aruba??

.

I think it is Bushi, who is internationally, financially very-well connected, even in florida, and beyond.

I thought so too but evidently it is this Robert Wever??

Guido looks more like Buschi to me, lol.

 Very Happy

wanted everone to think K2 gave him one because he did not want to implicate GUIDO

Guido immediately sold his car and headed out to the NL toute suite.  Hmmm, now what color was his car and why did he "trade it," not sell it? and then head to Deutchland?

I have a question.  What could Carlo possibly be talking to the SG about?  Was he delivering a message to them??   Shocked

Yeah, S.T.F.U. or else.

Naw, if Carlo actually did talk to the SG's, I'll bet it was to help confirm his own suspicions that JVDS was really the perp by assuring himself that the SG's weren't really involved.

Your first reply was the bingo. This one is the gong.

Was that after the interview?

I think that is him, too, at least that is who I have in mind as Guido's father.  Tyler did not respond but very early scubajap said he also was in charge of the landfill so again we have conflict of interest with his preventing it from being searched.

Yes, Anna, I think this is he and I think he has some title at the hospital.  These people assign themselves jobs where they get a miniscule salary, but it provides them with a base of operation and a complete set of files on everyone so that they can blackmail them if need be.  Yes, to landfill also.

Thank you bleached - I have the book, but didn't remember that he had included the yearbook quote.

You are welcome msmarple anytime....anything to help with the work you do. You do a great job!

bleached & other Monkeys -

I thank you for that, but I have to say that writing and organizing information is something I can do. Getting responses to my letters is another matter.

I haven't gotten any response from the State Dept. or any of the Alabama politicos. (Well, my initial letter to the Consul Gen. in Curacao got a reply; he did tell me where to send my material.) Not even a form reply.

I have a feeling that in terms of the Alabama folks, it might have helped if I had an Alabama address. Maybe some of you from Alabama could help with postal letters and emails? There are several letters in the M&C thread you could use as models. And the addresses I used are there, too - although Congress was in session at the time and I used their Washington addresses.

(See page 6 for those addresses. I especially like the letter on page 7 to the travel agents, because by then we had the FBI U.S. Murder statistics.)

Also didn't get a response from Gov. Riley.

And I have another question: Does anybody know what really happened with Bachus and his apparent 180-degree turn? I guess I'm wondering if this "official cold shoulder" has the same cause?

I have quite a few other letters out there, but I've decided not to post unless/until I get results.

Anna & I thank all of you who have been so great about posting things on M&C. It's up to 10 pages, and it's grim information indeed. I wouldn't wish a trip to Aruba on my worst enemy.

Well, short of sending it to Medley Relay and having it come from Arkansas, you can send it to me and I will mail it.  I do know the governor through old family connections.

Shango Says: June 26th, 2005 at 4:22 pm
Because the fallen judge agreed, he can sing any song he wants
A poisonous siren in the halls of babylon
He will sing to keep doors open, much to the cowboys distress

Shango Says: June 26th, 2005 at 9:30 pm
Who knows what song the elder will sing

PVDS said he would tell the entire world about all the secrets.  The money laundering, the porn, the parties, the drug connections, who's sleeping with whom, who paid off whomever to get things done.

PVDS knows where ALL the bodies are buried, not just Natalee's  and who has skeletons in their closets.  He's been privy to some mighty big information to be able to do what he has done to Aruba.  There is no other explanation.

See, told you I could prove it with Shango.. Wink

VMS - thanks for posting that article about Guido and his father.  I was looking for it but you are quicker than me, lol  Wink

YW, probably the only time that will happen, lol

FWIW, Robert F. Wever was the head of the Alianza Political Party and was listed as owner of  R & G Corporate Consultancy Inc. N.V.

The article said from Sta. Cruz . Do you remember a rumor about a phone call from the Sloot residence to Santa Cruz at around 6 am ?
We ( me ) were guessing Steve CROES.
But, the ever hasty on the job ALE didn't go to the Wever place until May
2006 to take some things away.

Very good observation...it would be about the right time for Guido to come along after he got off work in the wee hours.  He could easily have seen him or maybe Joran called him to swing by the beach and pick him up.  He didn't necessarily need to tell Guido what had happened, just that he needed a ride.

Maybe that was the reason for the meeting with Guido the following day, before Beth arrived. Wink  Wink

MsMarple,
Thank you for all your effort in this regard.  You are welcome to use my Alabama address but it didn't get any more response for me but then I am not in Bacchus district either.

But I am not really aware that he ever did a 180 degree on anything.  As far as I know, he remains supportive of the family in their quest for information.  Like the rest of us, not sure there is much he can do in a foreign country.

.

You are exactly, right, Anna, but all he can do right now is sit back and collect data and wait.  He is well apprised of what is going on.  He did not do a 180. The man did his job.  He cannot meet with Arleen and slap her, like we would like him to do.  He is a politician, a very diplomatic person, at that.

Who has the power in Aruba?  It would be the Sloots...they are the ones that are guilty, yet the ENTIRE island has catered to their every wish.  If the power did not lie at their feet, then Joran would be toast.   PVDS knows all the secrets of everyone else on Aruba and he's kept meticulous notes and those in authority fear what he knows and how it can be used.

Yeah, but just wonder is it all baseed on PVDS blackmail threats or does he also have some soprano power as well.

If you look at what the Sloots actually do have, then one comes up short in that category.  Living in a modest house in the area he does leaves me wondering what he knows that affords him such freedom on the island.  Had this been anyone else's son they would be in KIA now.  It's what he KNOWS that keeps him in power.  Shango told us...but no one listens...want me to prove it?  Wink

Actually from what history of the mob that I've seen, most mob boss's appeared to live in modest acommodations.

When the KIA warden had to appologize to PVDS on the air, it sure appeared to more than a possible blackmail that made him do so.

Yeah, they had Deepak's gun holding it on poor old Fred.

Well, sheesh - I've read more than once that when the Aruba folks came here and visited with Bacchus, he was all happy face about how the investigation had been handled, etc. (And Deetch [? the Dirty Cop guy] seem really down on him for that reason ... )

Really hard sometimes to keep up with who's on first, second, third ...  Confused

Well, he's a politician.  In order for someone to do a 180, I would assume their position would have to change in some manner.  As far as I know, Bacchus has always said he supports the family and will do everything he can, blah, blah, blah.  He just doesn't do anything like everybody else involved in this.  They told him they spent one fourth of their annual budget on this case and had over 12,000 pages, etc.

The only thing I heard from his meeting was Greta asking him if the Arubans were unhappy with anything and he said yes and she asked what was it and he said one word "wiretaps" which has set off a whole chain of events and speculation as to what he meant.

Yes, I am sure many of us wish he and done more but he has never expressed a lack of support for the family in any way that I am aware of.

I guess it's how one views the situation but I am not sure if there is anything he can do.  I guess he could call or write to Aruba but they would probably just send somebody else like Arlene from the tourist department or have them return his call.  Like the rest of us, I am sure he finds this frustrating.

Lalas and I have called his office and they are very cordial about it but just said something like he is monitoring the situation very carefully or some political doubletalk.

and was the guy that his lawyer told the world he was gay ???

yes ?

Yes, one of the most expensive lawyers in all of Europe, too.  Wouldn't think they could afford that on bank employee salaries but you never know in Aruba.  Some jobs appear to pay far more than usual.   Wink

And the lawyer is also gay as well.  Not that there is anything wrong with that before I get mauled.

.

Yes, the attorney is gay but I do not think that Guido (a/k/a Lorenzo is gay).  Anna, do you remember when he posted (the lawyer) at RWV a few times?

Did he post under a nicname?  I do remember a lawyer from the Netherlands but thought he and Dan got into it and Dan banned him pretty quickly.

Then later thought it might be that one on FOB, JR.  But it never did quite fit together and guess that is why, it was this one instead?
