I just picked up my cafe press package

A woman's dark t to wear out and spark conversation (i stand with the girl is across the front -- the back is blank)

And an xlarge t in light blue to wear over gym clothes, etc (boycott aruba symbol on the front and ' i stand with the girl' on the back).

I'm good to go

Happy Easter all.

The dark color shirts will only allow for imprinting on one side, that's why nothing on the back.

We are going to be repairing the foundation and slab in our home.  We live on a hill and there are always some problems with movement but over the last couple years it got pretty bad. Anyway, we are in for a few months of living out of the back rooms of the house while they work on the master bedroom and living room area.  It's going to be a huge messy project but will be well worth it in the long haul.

Here is an example of one of the cracks in our foundation:

I LOVE the dark t, klaas. And it will beg the question.....

Although a t just printed with the boycott aruba emblem in a pattern all over would be an eye catcher, too

Good luck with the construction project. I've never had one that large going on so my only wisdom is: take the toaster oven and a small microwave iand frig nto the part of the house you are living in

I do have a friend who had major interior construction (new walls and ceilings and arches) and her advice is; find an out of town project for while, or move to a hotel

Not going to go anywhere, we are staying here durring the work.  We don't want to kennel the dogs and it would be way too costly to rent a place that would allow them for the 2+ months it's going to take.  So far it looks like the kitchen will be usable even though they are going to remove the flooring in it.  We have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom and the garage to live in.  One of the spare bedrooms has been turned into a temporary family room with the couch and 42" plasma.

My PC is still where it's always been in the dining area which they shouldn't need to work in but it will get very noisy and dirty out here I'm sure.  So... I also have my laptop set up in the temporary family room.  Since I don't like typing on the laptop I've hooked up a regular keyboard and mouse.  Right now I'm bouncing between the PC and the laptop but on Monday, when they start the real work, I'll be on the laptop during the day and the PC sometimes at night.  There are some things for work I can't do on the laptop yet(hopefully I can resolve that problem).

Once the foundation is repaired we are having our fireplace redone and the walls repaired.  Then paint, carpet, flooring.  Then we can go back to living as normal inside the house and we'll start the roof and exterior painting

Hoping this can all get done before the 4th of July because we always have a family get together here for the 4th.

Happy Easter, Monkeys.  Haven't been around much, but wanted to share the joy of this day (tomorrow actually) with you.  I hope the spirit of this occasion and God's blessings are with us long after Sunrise services are over.

Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Awakening

Early Easter morning,
All my children ran downstairs.
Looking for their baskets,
That we hid behind the chairs.

They would tiptoe to the chair,
Then slowly take a peek.
We knew that they had found one,
When we heard their voices shriek.

When it all was over,
And their baskets had been found.
They sorted all the candy,
As the family sat around.

My youngest, who was only three,
Came over where I sat.
She held her little arms out,
Then she hopped up on my lap.

"Daddy," she began to say,
Love you with all my heart.
I have so many goodies here,
I don't know where to start.

There's chocolate bunnies, chocolate chicks,
There' s eggs and jellybeans.
And little candy eggs a duck lays,
When she flaps her wings.

Marshmallow peeps and colored eggs,
And chocolate that is white.
I even have the hard-boiled eggs,
We colored late last night.

But I have a question dad,
I heard it on TV.
It wasn't in my basket,
I don't know where it could be.

The man said in our basket,
There should always be a section.
Where we should keep the memories,
Of Easter's Resurrection.

Then she held her basket up,
And said, "I've looked through these."
What's the Resurrection, daddy,
Would you tell me please?

Happy Easter!

A man is driving along a highway

and sees a rabbit jump out

across the middle of the road.

He swerves to avoid hitting it,

but unfortunately

the rabbit jumps right in front of the car.

The driver,

a sensitive man as well as an animal lover,

pulls over and gets out to see

what has become of the rabbit.

Much to his dismay,

the rabbit is dead.

The driver feels so awful

that he begins to cry.

A beautiful blonde woman

driving down the highway

sees a man crying on the

side of the road

and pulls over.

She steps out of the car

and asks the man what's wrong.

"I feel terrible," !

he explains,

"I accidentally hit this rabbit

and killed it."

The blonde says,

"Don't worry."

She runs to her car

and pulls out a spray can.

She walks over to the limp, dead rabbit,

bends down,

and sprays the contents onto the rabbit.

The rabbit jumps up,

waves its paw at the two of them

and hops off down the road.

Ten feet away the rabbit stops,

turns around and waves again,

he hops down the road another 10 feet,

turns and waves, hops another ten feet,

turns and waves,

and repeats this again and again and again,

until he hops out of sight.

The man is astonished.

He runs over to the woman and demands,

"What is in that can?

What did you spray on that rabbit?"

The woman turns the can around

so that the man can read the label.

It says..

(Are you ready for this?)

(Are you sure?)

(This is bad!)

(It's definitely a Blonde Joke!)

(You know you could just click off

and not read the punch line....)

(You can still delete it)

(You know you're gonna be sorry)

(Last chance)

(OK, here it is)

It says,

"Hair Spray -

Restores life to dead hair,

and adds permanent wave."
Happy Easter!!!

CBB,  loved the Josh Turner song.  Thank you for sharing it.
Tot, that's one of my favorite Easter cartoons.  Makes me smile every time.

Everyone, today is definitely a reminder of what the Hand of God (as Josh Turner says) can do.  Yea!

Happy Easter!
