Question: Since the Defense opened the door for George's suicide note to come in...and they brought on the good expert Karioth that specializes in grief & trauma counselling...did they also open the door for that taped reaction showing Casey's breakdown fit when Caylee was found?

Bumped bc I honestly don't know this answer...

titch...IIRC, I do not believe that will be allowed in as it was allegedly a 'set up' by the sheriff's office and would be deemed too prejudicial to KC.

I do not think she will testify.  I think the new guy was brought in to talk her out of it.  I really hope I am wrong, but can not see her being that arrogant to think she can continue her lies and deception for a jury when they have not worked so well for her to this point.

I hope you're right. I don't want her on the stand, as it might take DAYS. Anyway, could the new guy also be the one who directs her? He would be more credible to the jury, since they haven't heard him fumble so much before. Just a thought. I don't know if that's possible.

It isn't going to matter who directs her once Linda and Ashton gets a hold of her. I would say they can't eat lunch today for "chomping at the bit" to get her on there.
she can't because she doesn't have emotions....

There's no doubt in my mind Casey is going to testify. I'll be extremely surprised if she doesn't. She is a classic sociopath. She wonders why people don't believe her lies. In her mind she's going to get up there and clear everything up.

I just don't see how putting a pathological liar on the stand is going to work. It won't. But I say HEY go for it Casey!!

You might be right.  I mean this all about HER, right?!?!?  She's GOT to make sure she gets to tell the jury about HER being a victim here!
[/b]

Yep...and how that mean ole Yuri told her they were going to blame her if they didn't find Caylee...and her whole life has now been taken from her.  We 'know' how much she wants to talk.....she hasn't been able to 'tell her story' for 3 years.  I still think she knows she is going to be gone for a long time.  Now, it is about totally destroying the family for her.  It would kill her to think that they will get their lives back together and be somewhat happy without her.  Look how excited she gets when they are falling apart.  I have never seen anyone outwardly show such glee when someone is exhibiting such obvious pain.  She can't even contain it in front of the cameras.

I can't eat right now. I'm trying to but I feel sick. If she gets up on the stand or not I am praying the jury already made up their minds and we can all finally see justice for Caylee!!

It is not good for the PRO. because it only proves that Casey buried caylee as her pets it means that she didn't killed caylee with the duct tape around her mouth as the PRO SAID....it trows away the pro theory

I am afraid that might create doubt too.....( not in my mind, but in the jurors)

None of the duct tape was stuck to the black plastic. How to explain the intact mandible? I don't think this shows anything but KC was too lazy to dig a hole and had less respect for Caylee than a dog.

maybe the pros witnesses arent there yet so they are taking a long lunch....i just dont see her taking the stand...altho...i hope she does!
While I think she is going to take th stand, I don't want her to. I want this trial over. She might be on the stand forever...sigh.

I think IF she does take the stand, and the defense has learned ANYTHING thus far in this case (even though I doubt that considering) the direct examination will be very limited to control the cross examination.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

I agree. I have only been able to watch a few minutes of the trial here and there, but last night I watched the replay of her reaction during George's testimony. It was startling, to say the least, and I'm sure it couldn't have escaped the jury's attention.

I hope so. I want to get to the rebuttal already!!

Knowing the Duh-fense though, they will take 3 hours for the direct, just so the State can't have time to cross

I think she will testify-just to do as much damage to her family that she could do---its their punishment for not lying for  her--she will make them pay

Just got back from driving the kids to pick up report cards.  Did I miss the Ah HA moment?  Why are they talking about bagging and duct taping dogs?

ga and ca used to wrap their dead pets in bags, duct tape them shut, and bury them...and henkel is made in ohio and ga used to live there.

Now...come on...squeeze out a little Ah ha. You can do it if you try really hard.

So the defense just proved that Slore learned how to dispose of dead bodies which started with pets?  When did Bobo jump the broom over to the prosecution side?  I give that a "ha"  I am reserving my "ah"

yes they did. i'm not sure when he jumped the broom but he's been at it for a while now.

you can give him an ah ha...just let it go...ahhhhhhhhh ha ha ha ha ha!
I think that she will say (if she takes the stand) that she duct taped her daughter for the same reason she duct taped her animals...

OMG Casey was the one who buried the pets there per her friends not george, in fact the friend said casey used to stick heart shaped stickers to them. Not George. byass your burying your own client! give it a break already    sl

So when Casey gets up on the stand, the defense has all the control of what the prosecution can cross examine her with right? That sucks

TWO HOUR LUNCH?

I am thankful.  Three hungry grandkids (8-11) were just dropped off by Dad.  Bacon and Papa's waffles is where it is at and ... then when the trial proceeds ... a video of their choosing will keep them occupied for another two hours.

I do feel a "little bit" guilty but ... only a "little bit".

Janet
8:50 AM PT

You feel Guilty-I am suppose to be a my daughters beach house-she keeps asking when r u coming -i just tood her when the defence reat--by rhe way do any of you monkey where I can watch this with my I pad--I have skyfire-but the sites I am going to does not load-I cant watch it on tv my daughter does not want to hear it--it makes her sick

If the defence keeps calling witness you may never make it to your daughter's beach house.

cherjers ... it is not quite the same as watching live but ... Magic's overviews imply you can quickly catch up on what you miss.  Also ... WFTV immediately posts videos of the proceedings.
