Good morning Monkeys!

I can't stop thinking about the shock Anita will experience if she is allowed to visit Joran in prison.  Even though she has probably seen the pictures of the
prison I think the stark surroundings will still be a shock.

I believe it was Cecilita who posted yesterday that visitors to the prison are stripped searched. I would imagine that it isn't crowded on visitor's day.

Think about the stench in that place. Unwashed bodies and going potty in a hole in the floor.
I can't even imagine, and in one of the articles that was posted, the diseases in the prison also.

There is the video when he has the two cups of cofee

8:35 am : he leaves the room.
8:37 am : he sees that there is a camera
8: 39 am: The hotel employee open the room and it is clear that the employee sees the room,  maybe not the body but he continues walking and seeing the room.

My questions is: when the monter buy the coffe? before 8:35 am?
That is what I wondered, I could have sworn that I read that in the lobby there was coffee, maybe from there?
well, maybe this video is after he came back from the coffe place( wong). In the lobby you can see a microwave and a fridge I am not sure if is a coffe maker. I think I saw one right behind the monster in the first video
Thank-you, Joran might even have had two empty coffee cups in the room from another day also, and used them for his pretend coffee run.

I thought Mr. Flores said Joran did go out and get coffee at some point but that video had not been released?

Is Peru even a signatory to the Geneva Convention?  I doub it as they are not in the EU where all the World Wars have started and so likely are not as concerned with that sort of thing as much as internal coups and such.  And Joran is not a member of a standing, uniformed amry, either.  I think it is questionable if he is even human to have human rights.

It's so laughable to see the Joran supporters whine about his rights now.  If they wanted his rights protected, they should have arrested him under their system.  He is beyond their reach now.  The family of Lori Benson (notsure of last name) begged for eight years or more for her release, too.  They didn't get it and neither will the Joran fan club.

Don't do the crime if you can't do the time, Joran.

.

Is Peru even a signatory to the Geneva Convention?

They signed in 1956

http://www.icrc.org/ihl.nsf/WebSign?ReadForm&id=375&ps=P

So what?  Who is going to enforce the rule? No other country in the world goes by it. I tend to think Peru is going to ignore all their trash talk. The United Nations is as worthless as teats on a boar hog.

'Morning, Can.

Yes, there is no smell in pictures and that many so close together with little sanitation. . . well, it has to enhance the experience.

Also, I hope they march her fat self up and down stairs real fast, make her walk alot as she will be adversely effected by the high altitude.  Smile  I was when in the region, rail thin and young.  Thinner oxygen.

But I would enjoy seeing photos of her with a head of lettuce atop that frizzy head of hers.

There is a chance that she may cancel completely, partying with celebrities and all.  She should bring her own bulletproof vest, however, as PLE may not have a Size Extra Fat.

Cecilita, is that every prison in Peru, or just some of the prisons where visitors are strip searched? I will admit that I've never heard of that before with visitors to a prison.

I believe all of them. I remember for that reason the mother of my classmate never went to see his son in jail. he was in jail for some kind of involvement in drug trafficking.

If I understand what Mr. Flores is saying...I think he may have bought the coffee on the way back to the hotel from the casino.  Mr. Flores comments about that in the interview that has been translated on YouTube.  IIRC he said a receipt was found for the two coffees.  He thinks he could have bought the coffees when he parked the truck (at the hotel?)  There were also two soft drink bottles in the truck.  I'm wondering if she may have been slipped something (drug) in her soft drink.

Cecilita,

No, it does not appear that Joran ever actually went out for coffee but only pretended to do so.

That's why there is no video of him going through the lobby.  Just my opinion but think it has been said in at least one report.

Also, someone suggested yesterday that he thought the camera might be surviellance only and not recording.  His bad, huh?  That's why he stood there with two empty cups for four minutes, trying to be sure someone in the security desk saw him.  Why he only sort of knocked, pretended to.

Imagine his surprise when the hotel employee only unlocked the door and stepped away instead of throwing it wide open.

It must have worked so much better in his mind that in reality.

I watched two of the videos and felt that Stephany's father really spoke honestly and sounded like a good man.  He spoke well of his daughter, she sounded like a nice young woman.  He made no excuses for her choices of going to a casino alone and did not approve of it.

Unlike Anita and all her reditions of what a perfect boy her delicious sporter is.

I wonder if Joran's family will "pay" for him to have a private cell during him being a "guest" of the Peruvian government.  It sounds like for the right price those accomodations can be made.  or I wonder if the Peruvians don't want him having a private cell after his trial. . . .

They MAY pay something for a while but not for long.  We know how they feel about him.  Anita felt it more important to attend the party at the Marriott on June 10th and his brother has been out partying since Joran murdered Stephany.  Not sure how they can sleep at night.

Shocking, isn't it?.  Have they no feelings whatsoever?

IMO Peruvian authorities don't give a rat's @ss what Aruba thinks about Joran's rights.
Joran didn't just take someones candy bar away, he MURDERED and ROBBED one of their law abiding citizens.

Blah, I think you're doing a pretty good job of expressing your anger.
Karma is coming.
I can't help but wonder how many are losing sleep, or if they are just glad to have Joran out of sight and locked up tight.
Can't wait to learn if anything of significance is found on his computer that could implicate others.
