Ive heard bamboo is fast growing and invasive, maybe she took some starts to the wooded area where she disposed of Caylee.
My friend had it so think in her backward you couldnt walk thru it.

I always thought that maybe she tried to bury Caylee in the back yard but found out how much work was involved, and ran into too many fire ants - so she gave up on that idea.   Then put her back into her trunk.   jmo

I think she borrowed the shovel because she thought she was going to dig a shallow grave to put Caylee in.  I don't think she had the desire and ability to actually dig so she hastily threw Caylee out like trash maybe covering over the bag lightly with dirt.  That didn't take long at all and she brought the shovel right back.  I think she had the shovel about one hour or so.

Any not wanting to ruin the mani getting one ... hmmm ...

That's what I've thought too norose. She may have used the shovel to pry up a paver or two, to put in the bag with the body. Or possibly to put the paver(s)on top of the bag. Either way, to help weigh the bag down.

Also, I don't think she would have taken more than one or two pavers. It would be too much for her to carry, and she probably didn't want to make too many trips back and forth from the car. I could be sure she wanted to be in and out of those woods asap! Most definately it was done after dark!

Casey Anthony update: no family visitors and more from commissary

Orange County jail officials released Casey Anthony's latest commissary order -- a total of $40.48 -- this afternoon.

She ordered various food and hygiene items, including a Speed Stick deodorant ($3.25), three Reese's peanut butter cups ($2.84) and ten chicken instant lunches ($9.00).

This comes a week after she ordered $68.24 worth of items, such as a sketch pad ($1.65) and nine chocolate-chip granola bars ($5.27).

She's allowed one order a week.

Anthony, who is charged with first-degree murder in her daughters' death, has $295.29 remaining in her jail account.

According to her visitors log, she has seen members of her legal team but no family members. Attorneys Jose Baez and Jose Garcia stopped by on Dec. 26.

She saw no visitors on Christmas and she has made no phone calls.

Pam Bondi says prosecution will stay focused and stick to timeline.   No one could have killed this child buy KC.

Mike Brooks says focus should be on A family NOW.   Find out what they knew.   They could be in trouble.

Anything worth noting? I can't get at the T.V. right now.

I am not buying the excuse that the Anthonys are not calling or visiting Casey and she is not calling them because the conversations are recorded.

They could offer love, support, etc. without exchanging any pertinent into, and you would think that they would want to see each other.

This means that either Baez told all concerned that meetings are now off limits because something incriminating could be blurted out by Casey or one of the parents could lose it and start accusing her, which is quite possible, or that Casey and her parents and Lee are now more distrustful of each other and wondering if one will seek to throw the others under that big ole bus.

Will Casey use the "abuse excuse" and claim that Lee or George or even Cindy mistreated or abused her, thus causing her to be unstable?  Will one of the unjailed Anthonys start to talk about Casey to get immunity for himself or herself?

If my granddaughter was missing the first thing I would have done was to have a press conference pleading for her safe return.  Once the evidence came back from the body farm, etc. I would not have allowed my daughter to stay in my home.  I would not have been in the public trying to raise resonable doubt for my daughter.  I would have kept a low profile but helped TES and LE in trying to find out what happened to my grandchild.  I would have had a polygraph done and gave LE anything they wanted. 
Why do innocent people need attorney's and why do they care if their house is bugged?  If I remember correctly the current attorney of GA and CA said he was hired I believe the day before the body was found.  Hmmmm! 
I think that Mallory needs to run run run as fast as she can but like someone said earlier if she hasn't left yet she probably won't.  Sorry for my rant but I just can't believe how these wackos are acting.  Also, they said the main contributor to KC's account in jail is GA.  WTH!  She killed his granddaughter that he says he loved.  They have never shown any love for this baby.  She is just their gravy train.  None of them are working.  How do they pay thier bills?

From my experience working in corrections I can say that there is little chance that Casey is remotely close to any other inmates. Even if she is housed in a common area she is kept locked up in her own cell when the others are out, and anyone approaching her cell door is reprimanded quickly and heavily. I don't know about her housing situation, but my guess is a medical, suicide watch area where she is watched 24/7 no privacy and no contact. For the most part county jails are actually more strict on these policies than state prisons. We had an inmate like Casey at one time, and even though she was housed in a "pod" each inmate has their own cell, and when she was allowed out all others were locked up, and vice versa. And her cell was watched VERY closely.

Sorry to steer the topic elsewhere, but something has been confusing me for a while.  If I'm correct, Casey was seeing Mark Hawkins while Lee was seeing Mark's ex, Tara.  Casey was very angry when discussing Tara.  Does anyone know which jailhouse video this is? 

Also, does anyone know how they all got together?  I haven't really seen info that Mark was part of any group of Casey's friends.

And, JMO, I thought Lee's MySpace rant about her was disgusting.  I can't imagine why Mallory would be with him.

I think ... If I were GA or CA ... and I didn't know where Caylee's body (or Caylee) was ... I would have allowed KC back in my home ... the difference being ... at the end of the day I either would have known where to find my granddaughter ... or KC would be in an urn somewhere.  The whole 'we didn't question her' 'we didn't talk about it' - while she was back home is very telling ... WHO DOES THAT?  NO ONE!

Someone posted an old MySpace rant from him that was very abusive and discussed their sexual exploits in some detail.  I don't have a link back to it, but you probably wouldn't want to read it anyway.

Does anyone remember when the lady took the A's garbage and found a note that KC had written her dad I think about security?  That tells me that they thought the house was bugged then.  I bet they did a lot of writing back and forth.  I wonder how they destroyed stuff that may have been incriminating?

I never though Casey went to bury Caylee in the back yard. I think she used the next door shovel wraped in a plactic bag to move the body and had in put in a container or a placed in another plastic bag ( double wrapped) and other evidence from the car and wash some of the evidence off in the back yard. I'm not sure how Mark fits in with the group, but I read somewhere he couldn't be Caylee's father, he either wasn't around or they didn't know each other when Caylee was conceived.

I can't say enough how impressed I've been with OCSO.  I guess we won't know until trial if they have done everything perfectly ... but with as much as I have seen ~ they've done an excellent job with such a screwed up, high profile case (involving the nuttiest family I've ever seen!)

An attorney for the Anthonys said they are considering giving investigators access to info the PI gathered after splitting with Baez in Oct, and working for the Anthonys since that time. In a phone conversation the PI said he is willing to answer investigators questions. Wesh.com

They are issued underwear. At least in the jail I am aware of. Women are not allowed under wire bras and are usually given sports bras. Guess in Orlando they have to buy their own.

I have felt from the beginning, there was something much larger than just a missing child in this sceniero.

I can't shake the feeling that somehow the NG case is related in this. She was a psychologist at UCF counseling services where evidently CA went for counseling. A ZG was the office manager who had her computer stolen, but not one other computer in that office was stolen. The date NG was killed was the 10th of June, and CA kept telling KC to be "careful" in JB park. The date they ALL gave for Caylee's disappearance was 9th of June.

Now, we have a filming of the place by a PI hired by Baez and the Anthonys, who is not really a PI but his goofy wife claims he is. She was the one who was with the "drunken cowboy" raising such h*ll at BP when LP was trying to search there.

Then we have the guy who ws selling chop shop parts out of Jacksonville, who KC claimed was her friend.

There is "something" missing..........and I am still searching a number of things.

I have ALWAYS thought that the fact that this Zenaida Gonzalez's computer was stolen was very coincidental - maybe it wasn't a coincidence at all.  I just don't know how it all ties in because there are SO many possibilities.

I just can't think of any legitimate reason that the P.I. working for the Anthony's would be videotaping any area of  woods.  Up until the day before Caylee's body was found they were claiming she was alive.  Were they looking for a live Caylee in the woods?  This was also an area, one of the many, that they wouldn't help Tim Miller search.

Can anyone tell me what location Tim was searching when Cindy reportedly refused to give something of Caylee's w/ scent for the dogs to track.  I think it would be very telling if they were searching the area where the body was when Cindy refused.

Then there were those creepy dolls posted on YouTube as "Gifts for Caylee RIP" back on June 27. Everyone says that you can go back and change the titles of your videos on YouTube, but that person had 2 videos of those same dolls and both videos said the very same thing in the title ("Caylee RIP") and I just don't see why that person would go back into 2 videos FIVE MONTHS LATER and change their titles and add words which say those creepy dolls were for Caylee so that she could rest in peace! And every single comment from other viewers on those videos was 5 months old (that is, until other people saw a poster here who had posted here about the videos and people started posting new comments to the person -- but before that, everything was from 5 months ago, from June).

Her name is Joy Wray, the PI's name is Jim Hoover.  Unless she didn't take his name, he is not her husband.  It is possible she made a claim that her husband was a PI (don't know) and it was assumed it was Hoover.

I am watching HLN right now and they are showing yet again the video of Lee and Casey talking in the jail.  Is it just me or does that family have a very strange way of speaking and communicating???

And Newfie, I agree!  Am thinking that Cindy (calling from Cali), or Lee, tipped Mallory off to get over to the house and grab something.  Had to have been something small, as you said, like CDs or something.  Pehaps Mallory was trying to wipe something off the computer, shred papers/notes?, something very likely was keeping her very busy.  It was reported that whoever went in there and got her out was "reprimanding" her.  Would lovvvvvvvvve to know how that lil convo went.  heh. 

Seems that LE did not search Mallory.  And why is that?  Seems they didn't ever search Lee's place or even his car.  Why didn't they?  Never heard if LE searched Tony's place or his car either.  Why not?  Casey had just come from there.  Think they could have and it just wasn't reported?  And how about the stuff that Cindy got her hands on (going thru Casey's purse, etc) while LE stood around and let her?  And the computer that 'someone' tried to wipe before LE got ahold of it.  And God only knows what was done with Casey's stuff before Lee even brought it back from Tony's to the A's house.

Do any of you think that between what seems to have been the botched three 911 calls from the meter reader, the above mentioned stuff, and the things that LE *should have* done but appears they didn't........ could the defense at some point after the trial begins, declare a mistrial, for what seems to be a whole LOT of mistakes made by LE???   ::MonkeyEek::

I was watching on FOX cam ... when she entered ... and when LE arrived.  They rang the doorbell/knocked and the FOX reporter noted how long it took her to answer the door.  Certainly more than a few minutes ... and unless she was in the bathroom in the middle of a BM ... longer than it would take to walk through that small home.  I was amazed that LE just scolded her and sent her to her car ... no pat down or anything.  Though maybe they couldn't do that since they didn't have the warrant signed yet?  I dunno?

Baez will certainly bring up all this crap during the trial ... reasonable doubt and all that.  I don't think he can get a mistrial on "mistakes" ... he could only get a mistrial if he can prove LE blatantly did things to evidence or to sway the case in their favor.  I think?!

Hi Monkey, yes all state and federal inmates are issued three pairs of underwear, three pairs of socks, and three bras. Two jumpsuits,2 towels,a toothbrush, bar soap, comb and toothpaste.

Very possible doselady!  Could be that G&C found those clothes and moved them somewhere else, cuz the dogs alerted to a spot in the backyard where something had been at one point.

In court papers Baez disagrees arguing there is a chance such questioning would delve in to privileged information he is not ethically allowed to disclose.

An attorney for George and Cindy Anthony they are considering giving investigators access to information Casey gathered after splitting with Baez in October and working for the Anthonys since that time.

In a phone conversation Tuesday, Casey said he is willing to answer investigators' questions.

I had posted yesterday about seeing a couple of shows on the guy from the body farm. A husband had killed his wife, and she had been "missing" for months. Her body was found wrapped in a carpet. The body farm guy did his study and gave LE the results. When it went to trial, and the truth came out, he had only missed the time of death by 15 minutes. I think they will get really close to Caylee's time of death.

Yes, I did a lot of reading up on the Body Farm after reading the book by Patricia Cromwell several years ago.  They do amazing work ... and I really think they can get her time of death down to a matter of a few weeks.  Fingers crossed.

When listening to Lee and Casey in the Jailhouse conversation Lee was concerned with her Blackjack(Phone)Did it have E-mail,as well as Photo capability?Was it downloaded on a computer like a "Blackberry" that way you can access your e-mail from phone?Any thoughts on the Blackjack and it's relevance to Lee??

JSM- I think the Casey referred to is Dominic Casey, the PI that worked for Baez- not Casey Anthony. 

That is great news about the time of death.  Dr. G. is so well-respected in the area, too.  This is a definite plus for LE.  Casey had better get prepared to strut her stuff all the way to a prison cell every day for the rest of her life, and that is if they do not reinstate the death penalty.

Well Casey supposedly lost her Blackjack, and she was telling Lee different locations where she could have lost it. I don't know if she really had a Blackjack, maybe it slipped out of her pocket in the area where Caylee's remains were found.

Wyk...a lot of what you asked about the searches goes to LE having to have a REASON to request a search warrant IF someone objects.  And then they have to be SPECIFIC as to what they are going in for.  They just can't barge into any person's home and search.  They were only allowed to go into the A's after they had probable cause from finding something at the body site to tie in.

Seems like when they questioned Mallory, she must have explained (like the neighbors confirmed) that she goes there at the same time every day to feed the dogs.  Perhaps if that explanation didn't fly...then they would have been able to justify it to a judge to search her.

All of her friends voluntarily gave LE their phones for them to copy/download the info on them.  They made sure they all swore to that fact in their statement.

The notes coming from Casey to the family through Baez is what I hope they have a lot of.  You can bet there is some good stuff there!

And yes, they totally botched the 911 calls..however, I don't think it was deliberate nor would they have been able to know much more than they do now as the body was already out there for 2 months.  

About Cindy going thru the purse, when Lee told the detectives about that, they didn't sound too happy.

i honestly think they are just stalling. wouldn't it be for a judge to decide & i would think that would take time. on one hand i don't think anyone thinks casey should be there but a judge would want to be careful-so it could buy the anthonys time-they are using caylee for everything they can. JMO.

So the Anthony's don't go to even go to the jail to say hello, we miss you, we love you, we are thinking of you, we are praying for you, we are so sad that that Caylee is dead, is there anything we can do for you?  They don't go on THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, OR THE DAY THEIR GRANDDAUGHTER IS CONFIRMED TO BE DEAD, but they want the state to let Casey out of jail to go to the funeral of the child she has killed?

Nope...........he is married, but he is middle aged himself.  He is 50. Even if he is my brother he is a good man. Even being an attorney he has morals and won't defend anyone he considers a risk to society. Many of his friends make tons of money by defending drug dealers, and he won't touch them because he considers them the "scum of the earth." So not all lawyers are dishonest or immoral.

What I'm gathering from LP, on November 15, the two PI's new Caylee was dead, and were going to get her but could not find her. The video is not at the exact location. I really don't know what is up, but if they the PI's knew she was dead, did they tell the Anthony's about the location?

She gets names wrong a lot. Nancy must be on vaca till after the 1st.

Zannie the Nannie probably has it.  She only made up that phone to make it look like she had Jeff Hopkins, Julliette Lewis and ZG's phone number.  Of course, that makes no sense at all because the BJ would have been the "NEW" phone.  And supposedly it wouldn't keep a charge.  So Zannie only called when she had the new phone charged up...but then, she said she had gotten a call that very day from Caylee.

Since she lost the BJ some time ago...(filed a rpt. with Security at Universal)...how could Caylee call her on the BJ and not her old phone?  I am so dizzy.

Hope this explains how LE knew she was FOS from the get-go.
