Glad your temps went up and your ice melted.

We dodged the bullet today. Was supposed to snow 6" then have freezing rain on top of it.

We got about 3-4" and no freezing rain at all.

It's just pretty and enough snow that Brandi loves running in it!

  Evening monkeys!! Hope everyone had a great day today. Got home, trying to catch up. Still looking for a Drimmel to file down these nails. Busy today and I am whooped. Gonna go read back, I need a laugh.

busy day in the cage today. Glad Dad is doing better Trimm. Sorry about all the snowed in monkies.

I have come to the conclusion that there are very few real men in the wold anymore. My 17 year old had a dead battery. He was at walmart so I said no problem, we will just buy a new one. Of course the install place is closed. So I just figure I can put a battery in - not my favorite job but not one I have not done before. Several males walked by and just kept walking. Finally after we got done, a very nice guy stopped to see if we needed help. Of course at that point I did not. I can not imagine my dad or my husband walking by a women working on a car and not offering to help. At least hubs better not if he knows what is good for him!

TBM.... will have to agree with you. When my fuel pump went out, my car was blocking the driveway. Asked two men to help me push it into the parking space, one little old Indian man helped and someone from the apartments did, the rest walked away.  No one was ever going to help me until I practically begged them to.

Finally uploaded to photobucket. The grass looks normal but it had the same ice on it. Unfortunately forgot my piece of cardboard to use for a sled. I did take a run at it down the hill from the barn and slid sideways almost to the house. Today by 10AM it had melted and now we just have rain. Thanks Texans for sending the warmer weather this way.

Love the front plate on your truck. Glad us Texans sent the warm weather your way 4 donks. It is cold here tonight. But not as cold as the rest of you.

Riley does that.  He will run down the hill beside the kids sledding and try to take the sled out from under them barking his head off like he is trying to save them.  Then when they hit the bottom he takes the sled and starts running.  It is more time and effort trying to get the sled back from the dog.  We even put a tether on one of the sleds with an ankle strap (like a snowboard) tied to the kids so he can not go far with the sled but he just starts pulling sled and kid and starts running away from the hill.  We have been trying to teach him to run back up the hill with the sled but he just goes the other way. 

Northern that is so funny Ryley does the same thing I think Josef would do it too if we had snow and a sled. Josef loves snow, me not so much.

That plate is actually the name of my place. Some places are called things like Sunnyside Farm or Smith Ranch but mine is Wise Ass Acres. I even have a sign. My neighbours love it.

Hi Green Eyes. JSM says you are now getting the cold weather. Hope it is short lived and you get some warm again. When the ice melted with all the rain I was so happy I was like a kid splashing in the puddles. Thank heavens no one but the animals were here to witness it.

I don't usually have trouble getting help, maybe it is because I am from the City of Brotherly Love.  The same city that was voted #1 for Christmas Spirit and now the team that has Mr. Lee!

That happens to me, also, NR.  I think you do something to your back and make it weak and then when the water relaxes the muscle, bam, it gets stuck there.  IOW, the damage occurs first, that is just the icing.

I am so happy to see you posting.  I need to do a little dance!
