We really are, and then like the city did two times this summer, shut off the electricity for hours and hours to fix things, the city got another bright idea and have decided to turn off our electricity from 8 to 4 on Thursday the day before Christmas Eve.

We really are, and then like the city did two times this summer, shut off the electricity for hours and hours to fix things, the city got another bright idea and have decided to turn off our electricity from 8 to 4 on Thursday the day before Christmas Eve.

WTH is wrong with them. They are going to turn the power off all day Christmas Eve with everyone having kids home and getting ready for Christmas.  I would be very upset. And calling everyone I could think of voicing my thoughts about their idiot idea.

It is just so stupid and inconvenient. So I'm going to go out today in the rain and get the rest of the stuff to buy and my hair done tomorrow. I was going to bake stuff the day the electricity is too be turned off, but will have to do that tomorrow.

It makes me crazy when it rains nonstop. They are hinting that we could get a flurry/or not.You know weather here is crazy year round.   
I am still trying to get the house cleaned up.All the grandkids and kids were here Sunday.We had a good time.sidekick can not take any more Legos to his house so I am designating an area here so we can continue on to a zillion. 
The youngest grandson told us all he wanted for Christmas was a new video game and bacon.

That's a great idea, an area for legos, I was looking for some toys for boys for Toys for Tots, and I was stunned to see all the different legos, that could keep kids busy for days and days. I've never heard of a kid wanting bacon for Christmas, but at least it is a rather cheap gift    Did you see in Kyron't thread, that DeDe's cousin is still talking about me being DeDe's mom? At first I thought if was funny, but the humor has worn off.

Oh it sure did, and fatcatlurker went over to that forum and told the cousin I wasn't her mom, so now I hope he stops. I don't even go over there to read. They are turning the power off on Thurs the 23 the day before Christmas eve, the day I'm sure people are doing a lot of last minute things between 8am to 4pm. Repairs, repairs that I'm sure could wait a couple of weeks.

I remember the lego faze.  I still have my youngster's legos. He is 33 Told him the amount of money we spent going for that zillion. That one day they would be used again.

I stayed up last night and watched the Eclipse. It was awesome. Hope everyones having a good day. Prayers for those that need them. Hope every body is staying safe and warm.
