I gotta tell you that I think that the DP would be a grave mistake. It really doesn't have anything to do with boo-hooing over Casey. I just don't think it would accomplish anything AND increase the possibility of her walking away.

She is {was} so social. Even Amy said she could NOT be alone and just talked and talked. This new life of hers must be horrid for her and certainly is screwing with her mind.

I wonder?????? Does anyone think post-partum blues coupled with the demands of Cindy be a defence??? It's the only thing I can think that would keep Linda Biden and the rest supporting her. Has this ever been discussed?

I am not sure if it has been discussed but I wonder if they will use it. Especially if they use the "she just had a miscarriage" story. The pg for Caylee was too long ago to start postpartum blues but if she just had a miscarriage it may hold some weight. I wondered if that is why they took such care with the pg test they found at the scene - I wonder if they were able to test it or date it to rule in or out it being KC's. The big problem they will have is that she covered up the crime for so long. This means she knew it was wrong. Which means she likely did not have a postpartum psychosis - look at the case of Andrea Yates - definitely pp psychosis. Very different.

On a side note - did anyone see the movie "Raising Cain" - it is old but very strange. The whole multiple personality thing was very strange and creepy to me.

None of her friends believed she was ever pregnant w/ Brandon's baby. I don't know if you can get a postpartum with having an early miscarriage. Plus she has no way to prove she was pg this time around. Only her word for that and we know how much weight that carries.

She told no one of Caylee and I think she would of delivered her in her bedroom and disposed of her baby and no one would of been the wiser. She probably heard about the girl at the prom. Good point - I did not realize the pg (alleged) was that long ago - wonder if she will claim that she was pg and had a miscarriage near the time of the murder? I am pretty sure they could test the pg test for dna and possible pg hormone. Either way, I do not think it will fly as a postpartum defense.

No Grissom is just fine. I had just noticed a couple of lumps and was concerned. But all is Ok now, in fact he's cleaning up my breakfast plate as we speak! But he can't have my coffee!! It's all MINE!!!!

I am so glad to hear that. I have a 14 year old pit spaniel mix and he is full of fatty tumors. We just leave them alone as long as they are not fixed and move around. The way these guys steal your heart and soul makes you wonder. How could someone hurt their own child??

Nearly three years would be stretching PPD beyond belief, to me.  Besides, if she suffered from PPD, she could have

a) sought help
b) given Caylee up for adoption
c) given Caylee up to George and Cindy.

I don't thing a jury will acquit on that basis.

However, that being said, I do think LWOP is the way to go, just because life in prison will be a sufficient punishment, even without the of the needle at the end.

If it's true I want to read more.

Casey has referred to Caylee as a snot-head. It is possible that Caylee was terribly spoiled and even at such a young age knew how to get what she wanted. Ask JoJo or CC. Bet this pissed Casey off big time.

BTW...I don't believe Cindy ever asked Caylee to call her Mom. This info we get from Casey's friends through Casey. Do any of you believe a thing Casey says? Caylee called her Nan and CC.

I don't know if you can ppd with a miscarriage, but I do know they can't use it as a defense. No physical proof she was ever pg at that time. No doctor's visit, no hospital visit after the miscarriage. The defense can't use a figment of her imagination as a defense, or can they?

WARNING! EXTREME DANGER AHEAD.... sorry way o/t but moving the pages along to a clean cage.

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Some nuts (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using)and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

I don't know anything about this guy.   I just stumbled upon this article when I was looking around this morning.   I also saw his article on the toilet fiasco.  I thought that was probably BS.   This might be, also.   I guess we'll find out, eventually!
