I see there is no news until at least 11 eastern 10 central, imagine how we are feeling here today & being her family...I cant fathom that level of agony.  So many case, so much torture and all as the result of individuals that chose to be monsters!   I'm gonna go rest one humdinger of a headache and check back later.   I lit a candle & will continue to pray...wrapping a hugg around all of our monkey friends I know its been a very difficult day to get thru.

I agree  - I think I have been through every Emotion possible today.
I have been Chasing Every bit of news on Sandra Cantu even when I am not in the Cage.
First thing every am - I check the news for any leads on Sandra.
It Eats at me. That this little girl went Poof .. with all that they do know of her last hours seen on camera and all.

Just heard the newsguy say "lets not assume there was an abducter"

So many things I can say about that, but all involve language my mother taught me not to use. If I hear one more time she may not have been abducted I will scream! Do you think it is just denial?

I read here, but mostly post on other cases.  But, l think if you know that the reason that the reporters jump and say things like this is because their stations legal departments have cautioned them to the nth degree to not make statements not known as facts.
In addition, many like JVM are attorneys - and they live by innocent until proven guilty - it is in their blood. 
So, try to just in one ear and out another and listen to your heart on what you feel, despite the disclaimers they feel the need to spew.

You have to know that. We here on Scared Monkeys are here for a reason and that is to offer up factual reporting as events unfold. We do not pride ourselves along with Mainstream media as our only Facts.  Many Monkeys have gone above and beyond ..and are so diligent in the Mission of finding Lost Children. Not looking for a pat on the back. Nor to be anyone's hero. Just amazingly Loving People.

I do enjoy JVM for her spirit and her person. We have to know that READS off a Teleprompter for the "facts" that she speaks ..as late breaking news. That pi@@es me off though .. Because she Reads and does not investigate first. In my mind that is not a true reporter. A reporter investigates and then tells .. jmo.
Her words are so behind so many times .. too many times ..as She spews them to the world as " Just found out"... NO its old and its not even correct .. what she drops as Bombshells.. too many times.

So I don't watch her for that reason. She has turned into a media robot.
The other thing that just IRKs me and this is just me.. its her Metal lip gloss. Oh gawd.
It just makes her mouth look bigger ... too much like a Great White shark with Metal gloss ..on top.
I don't get the lip gloss thing ..in Media reporting. Its not complimentary on women in media.. nor in real life... when all you see is Lip gloss first .then the face after the fact ..

Deenie - you are funny.  My pet peeve is that JVM and Nancy and many reporters act like 8th grade girls at the lunch table - they are so worried about what they want to say, THEY FORGET TO LISTEN - grrrrrrrr.  They miss the follow up questions that might be news.

Tracy police said farmworkers found a black, sealed case Monday while they were draining a pond near Bacchetti Road, about two miles from Orchard Estates.

It was a black piece of luggage of significant size with both hard and soft sides.

"There are no indications that there are human remains in there," Tracy police spokesman Sgt. Tony Sheneman said.

Officials in white suits removed the luggage from the pond shortly after 5 p.m. It was loaded into a van and driven to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office in French Camp.

"We don't know what's in there, if there's anything or nothing," Sheneman said.

Just curious, why they are saying there's "no indication" of a body in there, yet seem to be making a big thing of this by waiting for so long, getting their ducks in a row? 
They obviously have their suspicions, cuz they've handled everything so very carefully.  Which is a good thing, if that bag turns out to be evidence in someone's case, if not Sandra's.

The Tracy Police Department have said they'll have a press conference at 8 tonight to report the latest findings regarding a suspicious container found this morning.

 
Sgt. Tony Sheneman at a press conference earlier today off Tracy Boulevard, north of Tracy. Justin Lafferty/Tracy PressTracy police have brought in an FBI evidence team to examine a suspicious black container found this morning in an irrigation pond north of town.

The container was moved to an undisclosed location, Sgt. Tony Sheneman said. According to news reports, it was transported to the county coroner's office in French Camp.

Sheneman said the container will be opened sometime tonight and said his next press conference will be at 8 p.m. 
Farmworkers discovered the container in a pond that had been drained for the first time in two weeks and called San Joaquin Sheriff's Department at 10:30 a.m. today.

The Tracy Police Department was called, and an immediate roadblock was set up on Tracy Boulevard, close to Bacchetti and Whitehall roads, about two miles north of the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, where 8-year-old Sandra Cantu was reported missing on March 27.

Sheneman said there is no indication that there is a body inside the container; however, a coroner's van arrived at the farm off Tracy Boulevard around 3 p.m.
