Folks, I got a kick out of LP.  He struck me as a breath of fresh air in the whole horrible mess.  I don't think anyone but Caylee knocked the wind out of his sails...and the weird world he found himself w/the Ants.

Imho, its like he and his handlers maybe thought getting involved w/them might be a good idea at the time, but then it became too depressing.  Remember when he said that bit about how he was grieving (my words) over the death of his daughter's cat?  As I recall, he was remarking on some odd vibes he was gleaning from Ants when the death of the kitty came up by comparison.

Anyhow, I kinda decided I loved him when he mentioned the loss of the kitty cat.  It was very touching.  And contrasting that reaction about the late kitty friend to the Ants Twilight Zone reaction to the loss of Caylee, a human toddler--was very striking to me.

------------------>Snip to get quote stack awareness brownie points!!!!

J. Baez --- Delusional (and under investigation)
L. K. Baden --- Disgraceful (and rude)
T. Macaluso --- Dishonest (and under investigation)
H. Lee --- Discredited (kicked off Spector trial)

Yeah, how is this a "Dream" Team?  "Nightmare," maybe.
I call them the "Scheme Team."

("outing of the mullethead" -- Bwahahahaha)

And the other apples don't fall far from the tree............

I swear is JVM-Issues dense ...   She keeps referring to Casey's defense as the "dream team" and several of her guests and callers have begged to differ with her & yet she uses this every dang night!   After yesterday's display & disclosures how could she say that with a straight face!   Maybe I need to start a boycott to HLN that they need to

OUST THE MULLETHEAD!

I am all for the outing of the mullethead!  I do not think we would make much of a blip on the radar though with our boycott.

Desi (et al), look on the bright side.  As I already thought and a talking head mentioned mistrial for ineffective counsel is less likely w/so many "experts" on board this sinking ship. (italics mine)

Of course my nagging fear is when the time comes, all this ridiculous muddying of the water'll confuse all ready weary and homesick jurors and one'll choose the path of least resistance.  That's why these idiots bother me.  It was interesting to see a prosecutor smiling and shaking his head, but its early days yet and I'm not so sure I'd exhibit such dismissive body language about the "fools" speaking for the defense.  But don't mistake my devil's advocate thoughts as a criticism 'cause I was w/the prosecutor 100%.

Remember: the burden is on the State.  And complacency implies letting down one's guard (imho])...and again, it's early days yet.

God rest Miss Caylee

Hooray for looking on the bright side!  Good point to keep in mind.

I just replayed that video of her in court and she was just twirling that pen/pencil around and I got the same feeling. Those hands are not innocent, I just pray for justice to be done!
O/T I was very excited when I opened my emails this morning. TES is coming to the area to search for Corrie Anderson ( see thread in missing persons). Caylees case opened an awareness in me for the missing and I plan on helping in this search.

Aww, that is good to know, leslee.  We'll be praying for TES to find Corrie, and how cool that you will be part of that effort!

Looks like the server went down for a couple minutes.  Back up now!

Klaas, aunza posted a link on page 19 to some pics....picture number 4 looks like a ring to me. Can you bring it over here. I don't know how.

I don't think it's a ring.  I've seen a clearer photo and it appears to be a bag, maybe part of a canvas laundry bag..not sure

Hi Monkey's and Guest,

I see most of you are off in sleepy-bye land.  Here I sit, trying to at least catch up on the great discussions happening here, in the cage.  Hope you are sleeping well.

I kinda dislike hitting on this again, but-t-t-t it is driving me a bit bonkers... Here goes, bear with me, please.

I found another exact (wel-l, almost, it is a bit clearer copy and not as close as the first shot) of the above photo, here:

http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Sidebar/2009/2/18/caylee_photos_page_10.html

You need to wait a couple of minutes, after the page loads, and then click the link with the photos to the right of the screen  ("Slideshow - 21 images").  IF, the images all load, cfnews has the above image, as image #6 and a caption "Whitney design laundry bag found at the scene."

Maybe the following has been discussed before, if so, I am very sorry for the repeat.  The interesting bits of trivia we pick-up (no pun intended) as we walk through life -

Also, this evening, I was talking to my sweet little baby girl (age 22 lol) about the shamrocks and all the interesting detailed work you all have put into this piece of the puzzle.  She tells me that we do not discuss tattoos that in the small of another woman's/girl's back be they shamrocks or whatever!  I shrug and look at her rather puzzled like... When she says, "Mom, um (long pause; said very quietly) those are called F- ME tattoos."  Anywho, we traveled to google and sure enough... Urban Dictionary was our first hit for F- ME Tattoo.  They are called a Tramp Stamp or...  (WARNING: do NOT go to the following link if you are offended by four letter words!)

(edit))
or defined even worse but cleaner web addy:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Tramp%20Stamp
(Klaas & Mods, Please do not boot me for the above links. I know the verbiage looks bad, but it not porn, I guess, just potty mouth.)
Although, God forgive me for saying so, I do believe KC knows herself pretty well.

Ah, the things you can learn from the young. ~smiles~

Sleep well,
A.

I am really curious about these 17 hairs Dr. Lee "found" in the car. Trunk right?

Did he find this along with the "ham and cheese" that he said was there?

WTF? The trial hasn't even begun and already ... wow. Just wow.

He said there was rotting pizza, meat {ham} cheese and 17 new hairs in the car none of which was found by LE, doesn't make sense. Perhaps Dr.Lee is losing his hair along with his marbles.

To me, it doesn't matter how many hairs Dr. Lee finds.  It doesn't negate the fact that CSI processed the car well enough that they found a hair belonging to Caylee/Casey with the "death band" on it.  We don't know who the 17 hairs belong to but we do know that Casey is still alive and Caylee isn't.

theyve already started with the misstatements and halftruths.

the hairs were found on the items from the trashbag from tonys house that was in caseys trunk til the guy from the tow yard threw it in the dumpster. theyre catalogued in the set of docs that were released with a list of things le collected from the trunk itself, these hairs were found on the pizza box, papers, soda cans and food wrapper from tonys garbage. nice of them to adoid mentioning that tiny little fact...its going to be one dirty trial.
