How are the Grandkids and your family, GE?
What can I say two are teenagers and know every thing.
Youngest one talks non stop.
We have good days and bad days. Daughter finely got to move her computer home so she is working from home now. They are adjusting pretty well to their new schools. Even with the ups and downs I love having them here. I missed them at Christmas when they went to California. But admit it was nice having peace & quiet for a couple weeks.
I really wouldn't want to be a teen in todays world. What a good mom helping with his contacts.
I am glad things are going well. I think I will call it a night. Been a very long day here.
So Good Night & Sweet Dreams
Take Care & God Bless
XOXO
Good night and sweet dreams, GE!

2NJ...Happy Birthday...!!! Thanks for all you do. You may have the rest of San's
cheesecake....I'm sure she saved you some.
CBB....how are things going at your place. I have a good visual....lol. I don't think the shower police will be watching....maybe a sink bath would be okay. Is it that they want him to walk?
Thanks for all the responses on "you know you are from Louisiana". 2NJ...re the
nutria. Most high school teams have names like the Cubs or the Tigers....but,
even though nutria is more likely to be road kill, some of those rural schools will
choose a name like that or perhaps "swamp rats".

2NJ.....a present for your birthday:
You Know You're from New Jersey When...
...you recognize or can relate to at least 10 of these:
You've been seriously injured at Action Park.
You know that the only people who call it "Joisey" are from New York (usually The Bronx) or Texas.
You don't think of citrus when people mention "The Oranges."
You know that it's called "Great Adventure," not "Six Flags."
You've ordered a hard roll with butter for breakfast.
You've known the way to Seaside Heights since you were seven.
You've eaten at a diner, when you were stoned or drunk, at 3 am.
Whenever you park, there's a Camaro within three spots of you.
You remember that the "Two Guys" were from Harrison.
You know that the state isn't one big oil refinery.
At least three people in your family still love Bruce Springsteen, and you know what town Jon Bon Jovi is from.
You know what a "jug handle" is.
You know that a WaWa is a convenience store.
You know that the state isn't all farmland.
You know that there are no "beaches" in new Jersey - there's "The Shore," and you know that the road to the shore is "The Parkway" not "The Garden State Highway."
You know that "Piney" isn't referring to a tree.
Even your school cafeteria made good Italian subs, and, you call it a "sub" not a "submarine sandwich" or worse yet, a "hoagy" or a "hero."
You remember the song from the Palisades Park commercials.
You know how to properly negotiate a Circle.
You knew that the last question had to do with driving.
You know that "Acme" is an actual store, not just a Warner Bros creation.
You know that this is the only "New..." state that doesn't require "New" to identify it (like, try ...Mexico, ...York, ...Hampshire (doesn't work, does it?).
You know how to translate this conversation: "Jeet yet?" "No, Jew?"
You only go to New York City for day trips, and you only call it "The City."
You know that a "White Castle" is the name of BOTH a fast food chain AND a fast food sandwich.
You consider a corned beef sandwich with lettuce and mayo a sacrilege.
In the 80's you wore your hair REALLY high.
You don't think "What exit" (do you live near?) is very funny.
You know that the real first "strip shopping center" in the country is Route 22.
You know that people from 609 area code are "a little different."
You know that no respectable New Jerseyan goes to Princeton - that's for out-of-staters.
The Jets-Giants game has started fights at your school or local bar.
You live within 20 minutes of at least three different malls.
You can see the Manhattan skyline from some part of your town.
You refer to all highways and interstates by their numbers.
Every year, you had at least one kid in your class named Tony.
You know where every "clip" shown in the Sopranos opening credits is.
You've gotten on the wrong highway trying to get out of Willowbrook Mall.
You've eaten a Boardwalk cheesesteak with vinegar fries.
You have a favorite Atlantic City casino.
You start planning for Memorial Day weekend in February.
And finally...
You've never pumped your own gas.

TxMom....
You know you're from Texas when....
You can properly pronounce Corsicana, Decatur, Wichita Falls, Burnet, Gruene, Boerne, New Braunfels, Nacogdoches, Mexia, Waco, Amarillo, and Waxahachie.
You plan your Friday night after you go to the high school football game.
You listen to the weather forecast before picking out an outfit.
You know people who put ranch dressing on everything.
You have known someone who has had one belt buckle bigger than your fist.
You notice the best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
You discover that in July it takes only 2 fingers to drive your car.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
You find 70 degrees Fahrenheit a little chilly.
You know 4 seasons - Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.
You discover that you can get a sunburn through your car window...
Fire ants consider your flesh as a picnic.
A carbonated soft drink isn’t a soda, cola, or pop .. it’s a Coke, regardless of brand or flavor.
You measure distance in minutes.
Your school classes were canceled because of inch of snow, and some ice.
You've ever had to switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day.
You know that no matter how hard you try to draw Texas it always comes out wrong.
You use "fix" as a verb. Example: I am fixin to go to the store.
You find 90 degrees F "a little warm."
You have had this conversation before...
"You wanna coke?"
"Yeah."
"What kind?"
"Dr. Pepper."

You Know That You're From Tennessee When...
You've never met any celebrities--other than Fred
Thompson.
"Vacation" means going to the family reunion.
You know all four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still
Summer, and Christmas.
You laugh when people from anywhere north of Tennessee try
to say or spell "y'all."
It's "Knox-vull," not "Knox-ville."
Pigeon Forge is not pronounced with a French accent.
Sales tax is 9.75%.
You shop at Wal-Mart for groceries, not at a grocery store.
You don't drive in Knoxville on game day. EVER.
You can't remember the last time you saw snow.
You know when Elvis Presley Day is.
You know all of the words to "Rocky Top."
You think it's worth it driving to Alabama just to save
1.25% on the sales tax.
You eat "dinner" at noon and "supper" in the evening.
Your Wal-Mart has specific parking spots for horses and
buggies.
You and everyone you know goes to one vacation spot: Panama
City, Florida.
Everyone you know owns a truck, and at least one of those
trucks is just painted with primer or more colors than the
rainbow.
You measure distance in minutes, not miles.
You've ever had to switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same
day.
You use "fix" as a verb. Example: "I'm fixing to go to the
store."
You install security lights on your house and garage and
leave both unlocked.
You own only four spices: salt, pepper, Tabasco, and
ketchup.
The local papers cover national and international news on
one page but require six pages for local gossip and sports.
You think that the first day of deer season is a national
holiday.
You find 100 degrees Fahrenheit "a little warm."
You're convinced you don't need driver's ed--your father's
and uncles' pickup trucks were training enough.
There are 5,000 types of snakes, and 4,998 live in
Tennessee.
People actually grow and eat okra.
Backards and forwards means "I know everything about you."
Jeet? is actually a phrase meaning "Did you eat?"
You don't have to wear a watch because it doesn't matter
what time it is. You work until you're done or it's too dark
to see.
