CARTFY & MIKI  thanks for reply   Yeah, i'm trying figure this. He didn't have his hood pulled up but it's hard for me to believe he's going to shell out 70 bucks or so to take her to get cleanrd up.  Also since there's no footage released to the public of him leaving, .......maybe she wasn't in same condition, in a duffel or something. It's awful talking about this, sorry. These people need to pay.

LOL. this isn't going to be popular either, I think if the situation was reversed and the mother had handed her baby off like that,  people would be a LOT more critical of said mother. We would be asking all sorts of pertinent questions of the parent, in fact we would probably be dissecting critiquing her life right now.

I wonder if we make allowances based on the social norms of parenting.....

The reason is..... In other forums, they are talking about 'the white thing' in the pic being a fitted diaper.  This particular pic supposedly is the best shot to see the contour of the fitted legs of that diaper. 

If true, makes things even more somber for me.   Dude went in there prepared, with a clean diaper for a 5 yr old to use?

Yes they do need to pay the whole lot of them. What infuriates me the most about this latest assault on one of our babies is that it was done so coldly, without thought or malice, no underlying mental aberration or heated moment.  Just for financial gain and sexual gratification without any thought to consequence or expectation of any repercussion.

If this was those extended stay type suites I hope they check to see if she had been taken there before, however in the pic she doesn't look afraid or upset, unless she had been sedated a little.
So at 6:11 she's taken in,  6:53 mom calls to say she's been kidnapped, 7:30 MM is seen leaving

Dunno about others, but I'd be likely be looking at this the same, if the situation were reversed.  I'd still be pizzzzzzzzzed, no matter which parent/caregiver had the child in their home at the time. 

The dad was interviewed last night on Levi Page show - radio show on blogtalkradio.  Michelle, the reporter for the show, spoke with him on the 6 pm show. 

Michelle said: the "dad is extremely distraught", that Shaniya was supposed to come back at the end of the weekend, that the mom wanted to keep her a while longer, and dad said "Ok I'll give her a chance".  He now, of course, wishes he'd never let Shaniya go over there, and is devastated. 

In other words, Shaniya was visiting her mom for 3 weeks, and dad let her stay a bit longer.

I've thought so too, Rosie.  A towel, or a white blanket.  A diaper didn't occur to me, until I saw this pic enlarged even more.  Just to the left of Shaniya's knee, the contoured fitted part of a diaper can be seen more clearly, when it's enlarged.

SANFORD, N.C. (November 16, 2009)--Authorities in North Carolina said Monday they are searching a wooded area along a highway for the body of a 5-year-old girl who’s been missing for a week.

Fayetteville, N.C. police said officers are searching based on "reliable information" that indicates the body of Shaniya Davis may have been dumped in the area.

 Police had hoped they would find Shaniya alive.

The girl’s mother, who’s accused of offering her daughter for prostitution, was due to appear in court Monday.

Police arrested Antoinette Davis, 25, Saturday and charged her with human trafficking, felony child abuse involving prostitution and filing a false police report.

A short time after she reported Shaniya missing, a surveillance camera recorded a man carrying the girl into a hotel room in Sanford, about 30 miles away.

Police say that man, Mario Andrette McNeill, is charged in the girl's kidnapping, but has said he doesn't know where the girl is.

Shaniya has been missing since last Tuesday.
