And it is not a schools responsibility to teach kids right from wrong. It is the parents place. Most bored kids do not go out and murder another child because they are BORED. They are just plain mean as hell!

And there it is folks.  I had asked "what's in it for you".   You many not want the case leaving your jurisdiction, but you may not have a choice.  It may be the best thing that could happen.  That way, it won't BE personal and neither you nor anyone else can attempt to manipulate or massage the law.  And every other rebellious 15 yo foster child doesn't murder, so what's that about?   Don't try to make your own laws and rules.

Thank you for providing some answers.  Why were the rest of my questions answered with questions?  That smelled very much  like someone who wants to see what sticks after it gets thrown against the walls.  I dispute your point 4 however.  I have had many foster children that were teenagers or tweens and rebelling and none have been taken into custody for murder.  Saying all other foster children are like her is a disservice to foster parents and foster children and I take great offense to that.

fatcat, I meant to post earlier that NG said tonight that it was the manner in which the body was concealed that led to it not being found.  She said it, too.  I mean about the concealment.  Would like to know more about that.

ty, I kept wondering where that speculation was coming from and someone here said a huffpost article darned if I can find it, so NG tonight was the first time I heard it come out in real media - other than "well concealed" which could mean lots of things to me.

I'd really like to know what the high schoolers are going through right now. One of their fellow students is being charged with first degree murder, and a teacher killing himself. And only talk of  counselors at the elementary school, maybe a couple extras if they need them. What are these people thinking. How many of those students are lying in bed staring at the ceiling at night, and being unable to concentrate at school for the past two days.

And they wonder why outsiders get involved and care what happens in "their" town. 

They are going through exactly what you think they are.  They are excited, confused, sad, angry; they are asking themselves, "why?"  Some of them are talking among themselves, some are talking to trusted adults, some are writing notes on Facebook...I have some beauties from a couple of years ago.  They are trying to process the information, and can't.  They have lost their innocence.  Some of them are praying, some are listening to music that would give you or me the screaming mimis.

They need counselling in the worst way.  How do you precess that the kid who you skipped PE with last week is now accused of killing a child?
