NRCG, I'm sorry your dinner turned out so badly, but I must confess: I was laughing as I read it. It sounds like the Chinese Christmas dinner in "A Christmas Story". Did the Olive Garden non-servers all sing to you with Chinese accents? 

Everyone, enjoy the day! Now I have to go clean my house and start cooking...my least favorite part of the day. But then, the kids come over and the fun begins!!!

I just got my lazy behind out of bed. I think I slept about 14 1/2 hours. So glad it is over. It is raining cats and dogs here and strong winds .Just north of us it is icing over. I hate to have to venture out in it. Wish I could stay in my Pj's with a good book.

So sorry some of you have had sadness and upset with your Christmas.  I also have some that don't show up and It saddens me as they are my deceased brothers two boys and I babysat them so much when they were small that they always seemed like mine. I invite them year after year and they don't come. So we send their gifts to them by their sister who always comes. They never visit my mom either. I have learned to deal with it, as I am not one to beg and kiss behind to stay in someone's good graces.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day full of love and good food and family.

I am happy to report that I don't have a chapter for your book.

We had a nice small (just immediate family here) gathering for opening of the gifts and everyone was happy and surprised!

I got a Seagate 320 GB portable (really small!!!) hard drive, since I have almost filled my 250 GB hard drive on my desktop here with graphics stuff! LOL

I didn't know they made these and, boy, do I need it! I can also move the files from one computer to the other with ease. Very cool. My husband is the best!

Turkey is in the oven, dinner with neighbors coming over at 7. Time to play and relax for a bit now

I baked the pies yesterday, so I have a pretty easy day today.

No Rose..... we are actually  having our Christmas celebration on Sunday.. it is the only day we could get all the family together which is the most important thing to us.  Today it is just my hubby and I puttering around the house.  We have reservations tonight for a nice dinner at Humperdinks.  But the spirit is in today and I want to wish you all a spirit filled Chirstmas.

My hubby is out in the yard playing with his new custom golf putter... LOL.

I'm puttering around the yard, not with a present, but we took down a small tree, and I'm fixing things in the yard, and moving plants around. One of my favorite things is to go look at Christmas lights through neighborhoods, so we will do that later when it is dark.
