Sounds good, and then I can go finish in the yard, and hopefully it will be more stable, really acting up today.

JSM You need to do what my family does and every American family does after Christmas.  Put on boxing gloves and duke it out.

Wanna trade families? Nobody ever took me skiing.  They'd probably push me down the hill right into a tree. Enjoy your nice FREE Condo for the rest of your trip and enjoy doing what you love--ice skating.  I'll bet you are the only one in your family who can do it.  Maybe they're jealous.  Go down to the bar and see what's going on.  Might meet someone nice and make them all even more jealous.

Just wanted to jump in and say good afternoon.Going to read back real quick.
Trimm, hope your dad is doing ok. Is your plate full? I'm almost done with my turkey platter, would you like to borrow it?

Tevye,Dad is doing pretty good.If he weren't that would be the tipping point for me right now.One family member has my hinky meter up right now.If she weren't the mother of my grandchildren I could say p*** on it.
Fewer phone calls, and not confiding in me like she used to.I think she is in a relationship of sorts and this new friend sets me on edge.I am just trying to watch and give space at the same time.I'm just kinda on edge right now.
Great news is my blood pressure was really good today at the doctor's office.
I hope you feel better after your nap.   an angelic monkey
i will take that platter if you come with it!

All 4 wisdom's are out.  Son did not find the prescription dentist gave him for the industrial strength freezing so they went ahead with the normal freezing.  He drove himself home and asked if  I could get him the new antibiotics prescription.   Milkshakes are in his future.  Dentist told him no rinsing for 24 hours with salt water, no spicy or sour foods for a few days.

Glad it is over with, Northern Rose!

Yeah, the salt water rinses are for a little later, but make sure he does them frequently and all throughout the healing process. It is amazing how much they help in both the discomfort and the healing.

Also, no sucking from a straw. Don't want to suck the socket(s) dry.

I believe he'll do fine.

Yeah, it's stressful.

I had all four of mine pulled at the same time also. And I was awake.

Good he is comfortable enough to rest/sleep.

I switched Zoe's picture, because I feel like a drink
You are not the only one No Rose, if I had a drink right now I would be in the Archuleta County Jail with no one to bail me out.

Good Morning Monkeys.
Thanks for posting the photos JSM.
Good Morning Trimm. YVW for the pics. Not sure what we are doing today. Hope you have a great day.

Hey JSM!

Loved, loved loved the photos yesterday!

So sorry to hear the balloon ride was canceled. I was looking forward to more photos. LOL

When I lived in Connecticut, we had a good sized pond and I ice skated there a lot. When we had snow, I just took a broom down there and swept the freshly fallen snow off. But of course, it had to be not a big snow. You reminded me of that when you said it snowed last night. I hope you find something awesome to do today!
Glad you liked the pics Brandi, skating on the pond was so much fun. I really enjoyed it.

Tevye if you are still here and haven't gotten any tums or such - drink vinegar - yep vinegar - it is supposed to help if you don't throw up first - I can't imagine having to do that but a friend of mine has acid reflux real bad, we were camping once and she ran out of tums so she drank some vinegar
Thanks, Mission. I've already been to the haircut lady (bangs trimmed on my new wig, I look like me again!! and it fits!), doctor for the Neulasta-it'll-kic-yer-asta injection, and Walgreens for Rolaids and paper cups. I'm going crazy looking for the little anti nausea bracelets my best friend's daughter and all her friends used for morning sickness. I'm not feeling queasy, maybe I won't this time...but I don't want to go thru that.
But, I always have vinegar on hand, I clean with it. Thanks for the tip!

The accupressure ones?  Pretty sure they're called bio bands.
Thanks, Bud's girl. My friend gave me two, and they're lost beneath the scarves and icky wigs and med bottles. I want to put one on before I take my nap, I hate waking up queasy!
Tevye, I am glad you got a wig and hope you don't wake up nauseated. My prayers are with you. Here I am having a pity party and you are so strong. I feel really guilty now.

Nothing quite like skating outside on a pond or outside rink, very peaceful
The best outdoor skating is at night, when it's gently snowing big fat flakes, there's a PA system playing music, and you're ice dancing with the guy you have a crush on. It's 7th grade, and the only thing that spoils it is the massive wipeout you take when you hit that big crack in the ice because you were skating backwards and watching his eyes and not your feet!!!! Ah, good times!

I found my skates during the big ramp up to Christmas, I'm going to try them one more time with the toe pics on, and if they still bother me, I'll have DH file them off. It's not like I do jumps and need them, I just do spins and glides. But mostly spins....I love to spin till I fall down.
Yay, go skate Tevye!! Don't you dare file those toe picks down.

Not a good time to take a driving test, especially when you aren't use to driving on snow.
